Not sure why anyone would think even for a second that such projects would get good press. It's a lot of $$$ into play, and all parties want a cut. The more noise these outraged parties make, the more would cost ENB to settle for acceptance / silence. Regarding this news piece, this First Natives party is not federally recognized. It's a nothinburger. ENB on the other hand should be

Doesn't matter if the Native band is federally recognized, what matters is the negative press and dark clouds that continue to haunt Enbridge.   No one gives a Fiddler's Fcuk if a Native group is "federally recognized", what they do care about is pipelines in the ground transporting dirty oil. The press are having a field day with this, bouncing from one $hitty Enbridge

All Pipes dropped and they all dropped more than Enbridge.  It appears to be a sector wide drop where Enbridge is outperforming in the sector not underperforming.  It has nothing to do with bad press.   Go Enbridge!  ;-)

So the drama isn't exclusively Enbridge's and Enbridge is the best of the sector. Good to know. Go Enbridge! ;-)

The part that dropped wasn't hard earned.  Enbridge earned it for me and will again.  Higher highs and higher lows and yada yada yada. Go Enbridge! ;-)

Other than casinos and cigarettes the indigenous leaders pretty much oppose everything. But a good cut of the action usually brings them onside.
