Ukraine can't get into NATO ... it's a political game. Not even 10 years from now they won't be part of NATO. Look at NATO's expansion after the cold war and how long it taks to become a full member. Also, what countries have to give up to be part of the Alliance.

Ukraine can apply all that want. It's like writing to Santa. I assure you it won't happen anytime soon. There is no real benefit to the Alliance, plus Ukraine will have to give up a lot. Believe or not they will need a treaty with Russia to clear the border issue. Nothing short of begging if they want a seat at the table.
