Pfizer Says 3 Doses Neutralizes The Omicron Variant

(CNN)Preliminary lab studies show two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine may not provide sufficient protection against the Omicron coronavirus variant, but three doses are able to neutralize it, the companies said in a news release on Wednesday:

I guess that's great news. Maybe ENB would bounce back to 50+? Now who is worried about Omicron really? In worst cases hospitalization rate is 2.5 days average compared to 8.5 days for alpha variant according to Fauci's slides. Mild symptoms overall. I am surprised they didn't say you would need 4 doses. BTW, what if you received mixed vaccines? That's a good story for a massive ...more
