ENB & Board

Fiddy is the same fiddy as always. Not sure why Q engages in responding to all F's posts, that's not my business. Ignore is an option. I prefer void rather that clutter. No offence to anyone.

Question re ENB how low do you think it will go come Nov / Dec? I think it might go below $48. Care to comment if you believe it might test the 52w low @$46.88?

IENB has definately set a new floor bouncing at $47.65 last Nov/Dec when it hit that 52 week low. This is a great chart showing all of this.  Make sure to click it to a fullscreen chart and Weeky for a longterm view. https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/ENBRIDGE-INC-1409882/charts/ As you can see ENB is desperately try to climb back above the blue trend line.  It at least is ...more

ENB dropped to high $48 within the last month just like that. I have a feeling that the end of year selling together with the never ending recession dangers might bring us a new 52w low just in time for the holidays.

Maybe,  recession fears seem to be becoming baked in and the bottom is either here or near.  Historically this is when ENB dips the most but historically they haven't had an NCIB in place before. Don't be surprised to see ENB buck the trend,  They did it in February of this year already and every ER since.. Like I said ENB is an easy hold for me but if you miss it,  ...more

Silkos, remember on November 2, 2020 ENB got as low as $35.84, a real cheep price. As you know, a lot of the buying and selling on the market is based on emotions, rather than foresight or logic , and that price was influenced by the corona virus. Right now, there is the potential for the worst war ever. We face uncertainty. Sorry for being negative, but reality forces me to be just that. I wish I ...more

One cannot catch the bottom but if it touches low of the year $46 then dividend is above 7% and with 40% dividend tax credit this becomes equivalent to about 8.00%. So where you can get 8% in GIC's? If you can stomach the votality then it is a bargain at that price. Eventually share price will bounce back. My opinion only.

@bttm I don't know how negative you are, but believe me when I say I more negative than you. Not on ENB mind you, but on the market as a whole. ENB can be the best there is, it won't matter though as it will be brought down with the others if the market sells off. Great opportunities are ahead if I might add.

I know I posted last week that if I was thinking of buying, I'd wait until into Nov, but I wasn't really thinking about a swap. Anyway, earlier this morning, I sold 200 FTS at $51.47 and bought 200 ENB at $50.84 mainly for the extra dividends. FTS pays $2.26 and ENB pays $3.44 so we will be gaining an extra $236/yr.  Not that it really matters much but I also think ENB will have ...more

Worth noting that on Sarge's personal preference list ENB comes in last but when he buys it is ENB and not the others that he buys first. This is why I think "we" is a tool. But he did buy ENB so.... Go Enbridge! ;-)

I had decided to take you off ignore a while ago as Fiddy was always replying to you anyway. I now see your posts directly. Just to clarify, my wife and I had already bumped PPL, TRP, and KEY up by $10k each and ENB was the last of the midstream lot. I generally try and keep our book values the same. FTS is now the only exception as we have trimmed $40k off it and spread it around to some of our ...more

Just to clarify, I think you're a lying sack of crp and that makes your opinions useless and pointless. Never had me on ignore and never thought to mention any of the bump ups previously.  Nice one Sarge did they teach you to lie like that in the armed forces or on a police force? WTG power tool you bought the best stock btw. Go Enbridge! ;-)

Rumor has it that Sarge is married to Nancy Pelosi and she helps him quite a bit.
