Yes, Trudeau the lesser has been a big disappointment for many. As for destroying the energy sector, I think most energy executives now agree on the need for change and a cleaner future for the world. Australia and Korea lead China in coal emmisions per capita. China leads the world in renewable energy development while also leading the world in building coal and nuclear power plants.

Thanks for clarifying KerBer! I'd remind wkrpradio too that Canadians chose Trudeau over Harper in 2015 in part because Harper ignored the environmental concerns of most of the population. The biggest factor that causes heating or cooling on our planet is the sun. Hands down. CO2 is a life giving gas. Life would not exist without it. Trees stop photosynthesis at 120ppm CO2.. the two most significant extinction events this planet faced were likely a combination of low CO2 and rapid solar output dips (they aren't sure why the solar output dipped), maybe all the trees died
