IMO this is a reaction to the pre-budget release by the dynamic duo of Friedbrain and Trudope. The same old tax the rich and big bad corporations to death. Same rhetoric "pay their fair share". Specifically naming banks, energy and pipeline companies.They create their own inflation by overspending, raising carbon tax and interest rates and then turn around and point fingers and blame everyone else like grocery stores. I hope most ppl aren't gullible enough to fall it again at election time.

The Liberals can restrain themselves from overspending as usual so just raise taxes on everyone. An election can't come fast enoguh for me and Jugmeat needs to go too, he equally responsible and complicit as well.

The 'Halal' mortgage is basically structured like a rent to own... so instead of paying a percentage of interest you would pay a rent... it's laughable as one could easily calculate the equivalent percentage interest.

You guys.  Sheesh.  NO.  And anyway,  look at the terms of the proposed halal mortgage - it's window-dressing.  Think of the comical Eruv for Orthodox Jewish women on the sabbath (in Toronto, anyway) - with fishing line boundaries strung through the city so women can actuallly move about instead of being shut in at home.
