Line 5 is making news again

The Biden administration is reportedly weighing the potential market consequences of shutting down an oil pipeline in Michigan, drawing criticism from opponents. Former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Biden's energy secretary, predicted Sunday that heating prices will rise this winter regardless of the Biden administration's decision on the pipeline. "Yeah, this is going to happen. It will be more expensive this year than last year," Granholm told CNN.

What on earth are these whack jobs thinking?  How to screw up a country in less than two years before you ultimately lose the house seems to be the agenda?

Sounds like that 1977 pipeline treaty ain't worth the paper it was written on. Always use it as toilet papaer I suppose.   If they do shut down Line 5, let them do it in the depths of winter.  They'll soon start it up again once a few dozen people in Michigan make the headlines for freezing to death in their homes. I wouldn't worry too much about this matter. I am sure they will ask Gretchen for input and see if her strategy is off or not. If Gretchen's plan / strategy has chances of succes, they will not touch for the winter and then do something about it in the spring. Oil price can also tip the scale. Greta is so cue that they like to do what Greta says. Green energy is a bad name. What we need is clean energy. If fossil fuel can be burned cleanly, let do that because it is abondon and dependable, unlike wind and solar that is not 100% available all the time. The storing of these solar and wind energy will not just add additional cost but reduce efficiency because you will lost the energy ...more
