Gotta wonder …

Why the volume increases compared to TRP coinciding with Buffett comments at the BRK that they are looking at a deal in Canada now. It's a tossup between CNQ and ENB .

Steady increase in price as well over the last few weeks.   ENB is the type of company that BRK likes: high yield, steady and reliable earnings growth, managable debt that BRK would be happy to top up if needed via a conversion option, and top notch management.  The fact that ENB has almost all of its assets and all of its expansion plan in the USA won't hurt.

With BRK cash accumulating to about 200 B (USD)  by years end ,the market cap of ENB today is 107 B ( CDN).BRK could buy and pocket the 8 B $ paid to shareholders annually and  add to thier cash hoard .

The price of the available shares on the market makes it 107B market cap.. that doesn't mean they would get it for that price. Usually shareholders would demand a premium to the market price if they are going to buy it. They can pry it from my hands for a 40% premium to market otherwise they aren't getting my shares. Thanks but no thanks.
