A little spooked about adding tomorrow . . .

I think there may be a good opportunity to add ENB tomorrow after the quarterly report - investor sentiment is often negative for no good reason (Telus today). But in light of the AQN debacle, I must say that I'm a little spooked about the recent downgrade; more specifically the talk about excess debt and inadequate cash flow and inadequate profit to sustain the dividend. They say this about a lot of about other companies, including BCE. I expect the ability to pay their dividend obligations is tied to their expectation of company growth, but what if growth doesn't occur, either as a result of reduced demand or greater competition (eg from the Trans Mountain Pipeline)?
