ENB Upgrade/My comments

Growth through aquisition is more cost effective than building from scratch without all the
government regulations and more effective time mangement.
That is why enb went this route with positive cash flow on the onset.

stocktalk...agree One only needs to look at the hoops ENB had to go through with Line 3 and the continuing delays realted to Line 5 thanks to Gr (witchen)....or look at what ALA and its partners went through with the Mountain Valley Pipeline. And of course....KXL

Of course a lot of the costs are LEGAL. Filing of briefs, motions, expert opinions etc to be done. Hundres, maybe thousands of billable hours by scores of attorneys on both sides; copying court documents at 50 cents  per page, etc etc. They all eat up profit. As you said, buying a FINISHED PRODUCT, they way Enbridge did, when the sellers went all through that is better.
