All the hype is over, people now realize the importance of fossil fuels. With the Colonial

and possiblity of line 5 being shut down we all need oil and gas for our survival.

The world population is always expanding and consuming fossil fuels.

I dont think people will understand until power prices increase, blackouts due to lack of consistent or enough power become a common event (outside of Cali).  Technology, the resources required for renewables have to dramatically improve otherwise there will be a parabolic increase in price once there is a massive shortage in the materials needed to produce renewable equipment. But, you can go for a swim in the great lakes, if you live near the things.  Watch out for the lamprey eels which destroyed the fishing industry a century ago.  Don't cut your feet on the zebra mussels.
