Michigan Water Protector Closes Line 5 Shut Off Valve

According to a news release from the Resist Line 3 group, a "Michigan Water Protector" closed the shutoff valve on the 68-year-old Line 5 pipeline "in accordance with Gov. Whitmer's order." Duffy said the valve shutdown occurred on a Lower Peninsula segment of the pipeline, in rural Tuscola County, near Vassar:

In light of all the protestor issues surrounding Line 3 recently, it's absolutely mindboggling that a couple of rag tag protestors have access to Enbridge's shut of valves.  Like seriously, what in the fcuk is Enbridge thinking ????? How can you shut down a pipline operating at full capacity and not have it impact deliveries to customers? Simple.  It never shut down.  Do you think they put shutoff valves unguarded  where anyone can shutdown crucial infrastructure?

If the pipeline (or sections of it) never shut down, then Enbridge's wording in their statement is the same as security on their pipeline. PISS POOR !
