what percent is the DIVIDEND and would you buy at this price

The Div. is 6.3% & the quarterly Div. is somewhere around Nov.12th or so. I bought at $43.07

The div is 6.3% and will be announced with earnings in November possibly (most likely) with an increase that will be announced in December. I expect the price to bump up slightly after earnings as I think they will be inline with expectations. You could wait until after the ex-divy day dip to buy as it will probably drop less than the divy payout but it could be higher than the price today as I ...more

No re-investing or compounding required in my price prediction. I take the 6.3% anual yeild and add 8-9% share price growth.  Yes it is based on increased Line 3 production plus accretion of the new marine export terminal.  Mix in some organic growth in natural gas customers and inflated commodity sales (NG) with the analysts price predictions and I conservatively come out with 10-15% ...more

Every dividend paying stock can be traded around the dividend.  I don't do it because it takes more attention than I think the return is worth.   I also think there is risk in being whipsawed with the share price and it would only have to happen once to leave you outside looking in.   I think that everytime you sell your shares and buyback you reset your average buy in price ...more

NPC - To be crystal clear, I have only one account.  And once again, although it pains me to repeat myself to those with information retention issues,  i'd like to point out I have absolutely NO control over the # of likes given.  Furthermore, I couldn't really give a Fiddler's Fcuk if I have zero likes , or ten thousand.
