Enbridge Inc > What drama?

What drama?

ENB posts results 4x per year and holds undertaken by their accounting dept.

They also hold an Investor Day in early December along with providing updates to presentations for institutions over the year, which is handled by their PR dept.  The PR department also produced a couple of nice videos that showed employees talking about how great the company is.

They hired the former head of security from Amazon to oversee the security for Line 3.  The guy apparently spent $2.4 million to various police departments and the project was carried out with barely a glitch which was money incredibly well spent.

The hired local area PR managers to wine and dine local adminstrators who do the actual foot work on permits, State administrators, and Army Corps of Engineer personel.

The donated to various charities whenever they were building to create goodwill in the areas where they would be building.

In other words, they handled business in a highly professional way like they do in all other aspects of their business.   There was no drama, just an on-line presence showing  a handful of natives in self-made movies that would get picked up by local press who were not busy covering cats being rescued from trees or apple pie bakeoffs.

Other than Winona La Duke, it wouldn't surprise me if you yourself Fiddy were the most involved person in the "non-drama" of the entire Line 3 process.  You did a great job of providing updates on the progress of the pipeline, which helped fill the 90 day gaps between actual news items.

For Line 5, ENB will rinse and repeat what they did for Line 3.  I think ENB will outlast Gretchen. Only this time, ENB will have politicians from Ontario, Quebec, Ohio, and Pennsylvania as well as the Repulicans in Michigan who will retake the State in 11 months backing Michigan.  Biden has already spoken volumes by his silence.

Going forward with future projects, ENB has already shown its hand by sticking to oil country projects where getting a permit involves walking into the county office and paying a fee.

The citizens of Michigan better hope that ENB doesn't just decide that they are sick of Gretchen and choose to divert the oil from Superior south bound and shutter Line 5.  Either way, ENB will get paid for moving the oil.

If Trudeau ever wakes up from his hynotic coma and opened up discussions about building a Canada East pipeline, how long do you think it would take before the citizens and workers who would be affected in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio let Gretchen/Biden know what they think?

The drama is only in the newspapers and on tv and in the chambers of the legislatures (and in Fiddy posts).  In the real world, people resort to common sense and take action when needed.  Otherwise, they are unaffected by the silliness.

Ahhh, the illustrious MANURE 16 - when he's not congratulating you on finding good news articles, he's berating you on posting other news stories because he doesn't agree with them. CUCKOO !!!!!! Marner,  I hate to tell you but COMMON SENSE IS VERY UNCOMMON THESE DAYS. If you need ANY proof, just spend a few minutes on how Ottawa is bumbling, trying to figure out WHICH SIDE IS UP?!.
