ENB back to where I sold them at 54- 54.50 Pre Div -X date
I had expected a much bigger sustained drop but had not counted on Russia actually invading the Ukraine. Still further ahead having bought PPL and TRP as they have gone up nicely since Feb 9, 10 and 11 but will be interesting to see where ENB goes to in the next short while. Also be interested to see if they break their pattern of large drops just before X-Div date now.

I don't see any TRP in here. Did you buy some Tesla too? "Nope, bought Pembina Pipe with the money at 42.21. Monthly dividend, way less drama, no big swings on ex-Dividend dates. Sit and watch what END does while still getting paid, and as of now, a bit of updside so far. autofocus111 wrote:Buy back your ENB shares yet? "

It is also depending on your tax bracket whether the dividend credit can give you better advantage or the capital gain. For SargeX's grandchildern, if their net worth is low, they may not pay a penny of tax if all incomes are dividend and less than C$60K.The threshold could be wrong but you get the idea.
