As part of their acquistions and their reserve computations, studies used US1,400 per ounce gold.  Analyst follow had followed and used the same. With printing all that money that central banks are doing, where do you think gold will go? If they use a higher price for gold, their reserves will increase, AT NOT FURTHER COST! They have already done the geologic work.  They even have some ...more

Not sure the analysts are using $1400 per ounce (TD for example uses $1500).  The key is that EQX is trading at 0.72x NAV whereas its peer group trades closer to 1.05xNAV.  When EQX re-rates it should jump 50% and push the stock to CAD$20. Fingers crossed we see that in January.

"With printing all that money that central banks are doing, where do you think gold will go?" 1 Billion gets past and and look at Gold down today , Bitcoin up 2.88% Same story all year from the March lows , Gold 28% Bitcoin 500% dyodd but winds are changing , very interesting.

Bitcoin makes no sense to me. Warren Buffet won't touch it either. However the US debt is going to hit 30 trillion dollars next year. That is approx. $90,000 for every man, woman and child in the USA. 50% of the USA population doesn't have $200 in savings. This debt will skyrocket once interest rates tick up and then Gold will take off. Next year I see $2250 an ounce. After that the sky is ...more

I expect the 700k production estimate is conservative all depending on what Murphy does  (a little joke for the Victoria crowd ;-) )  .  EQX is joining the big boys soon.

This quarter, we will see some new gold production from Castle Mountain Mine Next quarter full production form Castle Mountain, and the restarted production in Mexico. Acquisition, hopefull completes soon.  The growth profile looks incredible.  If production costs stay  under $1,000/ounce target, $20/share will only be a temporary pause.  These guys are assembling both ...more

Yes you are absolutely correct. The question is WHY???? the slow (turtle like) response? We should be back to $16 at a minimum right now.

Dilutive all share purchase of PG not settled yet? Could be a bit of a weight imo.
Comment by truthtotell on Dec 31, 2020 11:31am
I agree.  Has there been an analyst who said they love or even like the PG deal?  I wasn't a fan when the deal was announced but put my faith in Ross.

Warren Buffet missed all the internet run also could not understand that too. Not a name worth following for cutting edge plays. This bitcoin run has been fueled by big firms saying ya its time we get in also , inning one of the big boys buying. Bitcoin up 3.5% Gold 0.65%

They just started , even companies just started moving cash into bitcoin to save it , you do you.
Comment by Horsesmouth2U on Dec 30, 2020 3:24pm
I disagree but will respect your opinion. Reminds me of the Dot.Coms. Everybody starts pilling in and don't have a clue why except that they are moving up.

I'll leave it at this, just one of so many. Have a great New Year. "Fidelity just recommended that investors allocate 5% to Bitcoin. Fidelity has $3.3 trillion AUM. Investing 5% into Bitcoin would be an additional $165 billion of capital flooding into Bitcoin."
