Not all bad news.  The Mining – Gold industry is in the Bottom 22% of our Zacks Industry Rank. However, there are a few stocks within the industry that are in the good graces of our Zacks Rank. Those included Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) Gold Fields (GFI) and New Gold (NGD). As I am long NGD and EQX :-))

not sure how reliable zacks reports are though, would theoretically place more trust in the recent TD research note, Zacks gives very superficial analysis and details and seems like it's more driven by "its been going down so it will continue to do so". Where are they getting the negative earnings info?
