Solid report, strong expansion, the future looks bright. But...: - AISC of $1,482 per oz. - Revenue of $229.7M (+76.7% Y/Y) misses by $8.1M. ... is not that good?

IMO, most of the factors that explain the higher AISC were due to past events already known by the market (higher costs at Los Filos/temporarily reduced production, etc.) To the extent that those were already known, the impact (if negative) should be limited, further those would not be expected to affect future AISC guidance. We shall see...

EQX may go down a little, but it will be saved by the price of gold which held up well at 1780/oz and going to smash through 1800/oz in the next few days.

EQX will not go down due to Q1 report but probably start the rise to a more legit share price, could easily add 30% over the next month or so. This is a story that is way oversold and about to show outperformance going forward, so buckle up.

Spot gold is now past 1800/oz. In the technical picture, the 1800oz is a resistance that has turned into a support for the next launch to 2400/oz. The more EQX underperforms, the more attractive it becomes to investors. So, I think from now on, we don't really need to worry about the past. The management just needs to deliver or overdeliver what they have promised.

If you bought into the dip past 3 days, congratulations! Let's enjoy the ride with legendary Ross Beaty to 1million oz/yr production! I missed the run-up from 5(CAD7) to 13.6(CAD18) last year, so I am determined not to miss this one from 8(CAD10) to estimated 18(CAD25)!
