Mgmt fault

Someone should be resigning or let go here. Failure to know there operating environment ; this is inexcusable because it leads to credibility issues. It appears there is a toxic culture between mgmt and the community they operate in ..... bad mojo ... but good buying opportunity but someone should lose their job(a) over this .... really ?? Holding back a COVID performance bonus and hiring 10 locals instead of 15 ?????

Agreed. I like miners like gcm, fvi etc because the bosses are latin american. They live and breathe the culture and have the skillset to deal with the local issues. Usually leads to a better outcome. Businesses are made or broken depending on how well you navigate local issues. I used to work for philip morris. They actually had a "black book" that only upper management were allowed to ...more

They are losing on two fronts ; cash flow and mgmt credibility ; both losing value every day....from what I read this seems "mostly in house" but these guys better fix this fast and clean up their relationships down there....they are obv not doing enough to keep people happy down there...I read they did not distribute summer performance bonuses because of "COVID " and I also ...more
