Fair Market Value significantly higher

If there was ever a time to buy the stock it's now. If you do buy it, you are in a better position than everyone who bought it 4 years running because you now have a better cost basis than everyone else. That being said 8.18$ is the breakout point. If it stays under for another 4 days it may be in trouble but if it manages to breakout in the next 4 days than we have a 66% upside potential. Take it or leave it but I'm playing this. Cheers

Well you are stating the obvious there XBC333. Of cource if you buy it now you would be in a better position than most. Do not try and play the chart game with this stock. Impossible to do with a stock that is so easily manipulated. The stock again today got no where near its yearly high with gold hitting $2,483\ounce earlier. This stock dropped more than the 7 gold stocks I'm now in. Down 5 ...more

I get your frustration but there’s a lot to be bullish about with EQX. They’ve just poured their first gold at the Greenstone Mine and completed key acquisitions which should boost their output and profitability significantly. Plus their revenue is up 13.74% YoY and their market cap has surged by 69.38% in the past year. These moves along with expected margin recovery and strong cash flow show ...more

EQX tends to be more volatile than other gold stocks due to a few reasons. They’ve had operational issues like higher costs at some mines and lower production at others, which have hit their financials hard. Currency fluctuations from operating in multiple countries like Mexico and Brazil also play a part. Their aggressive acquisitions, such as the Greenstone Mine, add short-term uncertainty, even ...more

True, but you left out an important point for why EQX is volatile; that is AISC. High AISC producers like EQX tend to be very volatile with the price of gold because the POG has a major influence on margins. An example (not for you but for Horsey) GOLD producer 1 has AISC 1300$ GOLD producer 2 has AISC of 1900$  GOLD is 2300 and goes to 2200$ Producer 1 lost  100/1000$  = 10 ...more

You’re right about EQX’s volatility being tied to its All-In Sustaining Costs (AISC). High AISC producers like EQX are really sensitive to gold price changes, which can majorly impact their profits. For those who are new to this, AISC includes all the costs associated with sustaining current gold production, such as operating costs, capital expenditures, and admin expenses.   Currently ...more
