The backdrop has changed in past month

nat gas near $3.00 US  and Wti back above $40 US is one thing , but there are many others 

US acqusiition and consoldiation cycle appears to have ignited . Today COP  announces play for Concho (Permian) .  In Canada Whitecap acquired NAL , a smart acqusition for achieving the dual objectives of growth and delveraging 

One of the huge appeals in being lower net debt than even an Arc Rrsources is the attractiveness of our balance sheet .

And on valuation metrics - our tiny sliver of equity for 80+ K boe is starting to stand out ....

So what your saying is, ERF share holders are screwed. Usually, people that own shares of acquired companies take a big hit. I think, Ian should stop paying the dividend and use that cash to acquire other companies, if he still wants to be CEO going forward. If not then sell
