Acquisition

Guys , you are again missing the point

1. I did not get this scoop from Tod (when did i say i did?). I am not going to share my source on this forum am i?
2. ATB Capital is AN ARM of ATB Financial, Though they have their own team of researchers they still rely on Economist input don't you think?

Anyways, i have made my point, you guys can go on and on about how the world is so black and white without any blurry lines and how we are living in a perfect world where all regulations breaches are caught right? Then explain the Madoff and FTX to me?

Don't be juvenile or complacent.

Sorry guys it was just a rumour. Ensign now has a stronger balance sheet with sale to Cathedral. Additionally with strong cash flows and debt reduction is expected to bounce back to levels seen in 2017-2018. That is why ATB raised its price target to $9 Without any dividend or shares buyback, the positive cash flows from stronger demand there is no doubt that this could reach $9 on its own by May ...more

So Insider, you now say it was just a rumour, colour me surprised. After all  your pi$$yness about being called out on spreading rumours, even more surpirsed you had the stones to admit it. As far as the sale to Cathederal, that happened more than 4 months ago in Oct 22, was only a $5 million dollar transaction and they swapped the horizontal gear for Shares in Cathedral, so that did zilch to ...more

Yes they acquired Cathedral shares but that doesn't mean they have not been offloading it or selling it to strengthen their cash flow and to reduce debt. I don't engage in conversations with senseless idiots who do not understand how Treasury operates. Talk about not knowing how balance sheet works. Are you for real? I am a CPA, MBA Finance and a double major in Math and Economics. 20 ...more

You really are full of it. At least take the time to read the basic information. This is not about venom, this is about calling out self styled experts who are plain and simply full of BS. CALGARY, AB, Oct. 27, 2022 /CNW/ - Cathedral Energy Services Ltd. (TSX: CET) ("Cathedral" or the "Company" or "CET") and Ensign Energy Services Inc. (TSX: ESI) are pleased to ...more

Hilarious.   MBA and Cfa's I've worked with were often crappy investors.     Couldn't see past their long noses.    Papers in the wall doesn't mean success in captial markets.     The fact that this ESL student labeled themselves "Insider" says it all.     Dean don't waste your time with these little ...more

Learned long ago that people who lead with 'credentials' lack experience.     Tell us more of your decades of education and all your paper profits.     This time try it without the profanities, they make you sound common.
Comment by Insider on Jan 28, 2023 3:42pm
Then I say you learned or experienced nothing or you must be very young. People who lead with credentials and experience have a lethal combination that can more often than not score big when it comes to capital investments. Now as for profanity, I can avoid that but I think you need to self reflect and first ask yourself who was using words like pimp to begin with.

Dean's forecast $7 My forecast $9 When the chips were down ATB was the first one to put a price target of $4.75 where everyone else had price target of $2 - $2.5 The ESI easily reached and crossed that target in 2022 despite having highly leveraged balance sheet Again ATB is the first to raise price target to $9 where everyone else has it at $6-$6.5 Only time will prove if 20 years ...more

These claims may highlight a problem with our educational system? Seriously , had a CPA  accountant once who screwed up my taxes, filed with allowing me to doublecheck and had to refile. I could claim to be one of the following - Michael Jordan, Warren Buffet, Peter Lynch etc.......... Forrest Gump
