Even Morningstar has the company valued at .59 with a price to earings ratio of 37 (among the highest in the industry). Anyone think there maybe make a better offer given the 5.5 million non-compete fee? Whats the chance this offer fails to get shareholder approval. I'm voting no.

Looked at Morningstar's ownership recordes (not the most reliable but all I could find) As of 31 Aug they have institutional ownership at 22,351,653 with Edge Point at 12,545,200. Total is less than 20 %. They don't have the votes required without retail support IMO.

Sollmg, your Morningstar's report must be more accurate then were i find my major investor report. Mine comes from the Marketscreener web site.And as you noted, they don't see to have the votes if they don't get the retail support. I don't have any ESN position but my interest is because of my position in Akita Drilling. Good luck, hopefully the retail investors don't

You can have best technology in the world but it doesnt change the massive industry problem..ie per well numbers are too good and it requires less service work than 5 year ago. Take the marcellus play in the States.  29 rigs only too maintiain 26 BCF a day! Insane. Western Canada produces like 16-17 BCF a day and 29 rigs can maintain higher production in USA on just one play. ESN has strong
