What Shareholder Value ? ?

I mentioned before that I owned this company 15 years ago at $ 1.25 per share .  The buyout offer is 40 cents a share .  What and where is there any financial shareholder value ?  People buy stocks for one reason only -- to increase their net worth .  Anyway ,  I will hold this company for a few more days on the  small possibility of another offer , after which I will chock it up as a very poor investment on my part .  Just one retired salesmans opinion .

Just because oil and gas prices seem healthy doesnt mean the industry is for next year. Look at Aeco hedging price for Alberta NG...in peak heating demand season, January 2024 can only hedge NG for 3 dollars.source: https://www.gasalberta.com/gas-market/market-prices Unless a very cold winter in North America...that is pointing to NG being sub 2 dollars in Western Canada next summer.
