It sure would be nice!!! My feeling would be more likely in Q3 or Q4 unless they got a real blast of cash in Q2......Q1 cash balance was ~$91M and I would suspect $125M to $130M cash balance could trigger a special @$1.00 but who knows, maybe a smaller special like $0.50 to $0.75 if they climb over $100M. Hopefully holding.

Over the last 3 fiscals, EPS (diluted) has gotten a bump in Q2 so hopefully we see that tonight as Q1 EPS (Diluted) was only $0.125….shouldn’t be a stretch to beat however I am not sure how much (if any) that seasonality impacts Evertz. Cash balance was ~$91M at end of Q1 so hopefully it has cumulated above $100M over the last 3 months…..if so, we could be on track for a special dividend in ...more
