I really don't mind embarrassing myself. With the amount of reading I do and the number of companies I read about, I appreciate the opinions of all the posters. Good and bad. From what I understand hasn't Rio Tinto been mining and thus benefiting from this play for qwite some time. Or are they simply stock piling ore for the next 3 years. Appreciate your opinion. Thanks. Yes it may be a stupid question but if it saves me an hours . Very good

It is my understanding Rio mines their own area, so no cash flow for ERLFF.  But, I could be wrong. I'm fairly new to this investment. Lot of moving pieces. T

Bottom line, OTLLC is moviing into the area to mine in which ETG has a 20% interest and RIO has a long time agreement to come up with a deal to agree with ETG on how the mining deal would work between the 2.  The simplest solution is for RIO/OTLLC to buy out ETG.  Complicating the issue is who bears the dilution for Mongolian's govt 34% free carry.   The reality is that the ...more

The Company does very little self-promotion but they have a long-standing Investor Presentation slide deck (tweaked and revised every few months) that gives a good overview of the Oyu Tolgoi structure and ETG's interests. Note especially the longitudinal cross-section of Hugo North/HNE and the "open" arrows at the North end on the JV ground.  The current stated 43-101 compliant ...more

  A  "p.s." on my post and the focus on that fault at 625mN vs a mineralized drill intersection interpreted as top of the same system way out near 1300mN.  With the caveat I'm not a geologist and the huge timelines involved in geology, emplacement of rocks and minerals, movement, folding, faulting, erosion, leaching, later events ... make it a very complex science ...more
