Diligence vs. Guessing

I don't expect anyone to take my word for anything, nor would I take anyone else's Forum opinions as fact. If you care to have your questions answered as I did, I suggest you make the free call to Exmin's office. If you've ever taken the time to call, and been fortunate to talk to someone other than a PR person as you would if you call Exmin, you would realize that they are very careful in what they say in specifics. After a 20 minute conversation, I was sufficiently satisfied that they were doing everything they could to further our investments during this tough time. They have had some very interesting conversations with very big players, near a few of their concessions in Mexico, and I liked what I heard. I agree with the opinion that these moves to keep them moving forward is the smartest thing they can do, given the alternatives. With Gold moving up substantially from here, and looking at their land packages and underlying potential, there are indeed in a great position to capitalize further on larger cap JV's who have been waiting to pick up plays ready to be moved into production for the undeniable flight to Gold demand in the very near future. If you listen to the economists, who are generally the best predictors of where our economy will be going, there is a widespread belief that high inflation in the medium term is a given. Inflation coupled with a US Dollar that will be devalued (even as Obama has admitted) that is unavoidable, will lead a lot of investment dollars to only one place...Gold! When this happens, as long as you are still in business, and you have decent land packages and the type of proven reserves that Exmin has, even just based on their Bigger Player neighbours, there will be consolidation of Gold co's, with the Big Guys JV'ing or taking over the small caps wherever they can.
I think we are in a great position to keep delineating where we can, and as the market improves, watch out!
It's pretty easy for a Big Cap to have a huge impact on this little co. of only 100M shares.
Also, don't be fooled by the tiny traders buying and selling a couple hundred thousand shares at .03 or .05 cents. There are plenty of bigger shareholders, owners in this company that know what their packages are worth when times turn positive. It is not a big move to .25 or .50 cents or even $1 when production from any of their plays looks like it may happen. Remember this is an explorer right now, not a producer. And times have not ever been worse in the market. It looks to me like we have made some moves to bide our time, and now is the time for the smart money to take a chance on a few small caps with great positions. I stick by my opinion of .50 by the end of the summer, but again, it's only my opinion. If you want an educated opinion of your own, make the free call.
Good Luck

I love the not so subtle way of suggesting our opinions are uneducated. The fact that you talked to Karl isn't all that impressive. You mentioned he was very careful in what he said, but insinuated that he led you to believe certain positive things were going to happen soon. That's great, but it makes me a smile a little. The last time I e-mailed Karl and got a response, he basically said ...more

Anyone unhappy with a company's performance is a basher and should be ignored? Pretty easy way to lose money by tuning out all of the negative comments and repeating to yourself, "I think we can, I think we can". Listen, big shareholders in companies don't sit back and keep quiet when things aren't going how they were told they were. Take Eugene Melnyk with biovail or the ...more
