As a shareholder, what do you prefer? 
 
Scenario 1) The company seeks an appoinment with the plaintiff, they reach an agreement, take a photograph and send a message to shareholders, their employees, their clients and governments, showing the strength of the company. 
 
Scenario 2) They continue fighting for 7 more years, the plaintiff tries to enforce a sentence and the company hides, as it threatened to do so. The plaintiff seeks new international legal avenues and publishes warnings regarding the insolvency and lack of seriousness of the company.

Just based on these scare tactics, threats, timing, the ridiculous judgement  against San Pedro that is said to be "without merit and not supported by the evidence, facts or law", years of dragging it on and what looks like a planned and continuous attack on Excellon's stock price, this has the appearance of a shakedown and extorsion ...more
