What does the term "spin-out" imply?

I don't recall hearing the term before. Is it just a fancy way of saying they will sell the Silver City assets
and start a new company?.

What benefit will it be to the pathetic scraps of funds I still hold in Excellon?

Spining off Silver City I think is another brillant idea of the spin-off sheister Cahill and something he learned from his Pelangio days. For those who do not know Pelangio  is a project generator company in Central-West Africa which exists by optioning out prospective exploration claims.   In Germany it is Globex who owns the claim over Silver City and they optioned it out to Exn.

Silver Thanks for posting this link, sounds very interesting. At least they have a plan going forward, spinning out Silver City and wainting for assays from Okley ! Who knows, something good may start coming out of this company ? M2
