Excellon needs to be broken up and pieces spun out…. or JV’s

Hopefully this is the plan
is Management just waiting for a further ripening of the marketplace?
maybe so...

but any one of their properties individually is worthy of a small public listing in the Junior resource market.....

maybe a joint venture on Platosa?

hopefully they get going on unlocking Value and maybe restructure the debenture deal (again)
wouldn't be unheard of

Alex All good ideas for Excellon, but I think there is something wrong with Management. The only break up "of their properties individually" will be through "liquidation" as in bankruptcy. IMO  "restructure the debenture deal " may be to late as they are runing out of money !  Something will happen and I don't it will be good news. M2

of course I'm hoping that's not the case. hoping that things are "just moving slower than anticipated" as far as "market conditions" allowing them to fallow through on plans  which can change rather suddenly..... I believe this scenario is more than likely, the case.

Alex Here is the reason no won will deal with Exellon and cash is running out. This is a death nail in Excellon'scoffin.  IMO contingent value rights of Excellon, providing for aggregate cash payments equal to the equivalent of up to 1,500 troy ounces of gold upon the achievement of certain milestones;   • a 2% net smelter returns royalty on the unpatented claims comprising ...more

My take. I think Excellon's/shareholders assets have been plundered thanks to its CEO's. Marine as you point out one way they have done this is by giving away portions of forward profits from Kilgore deliberately making it virtually impossible to spin Kilgore off.  Along with that they drove Excellon to over  10 consecutive years of net financial losses even with 100's of ...more

I guess I'm an optimist, but I believe they're probably one decent news release from this stock heading due North and up in a big way sure, the magnitude of disappointments for EXN shareholders can't be mitigated or overstated  we have some very attractive properties though  with Silver looking like it might continue to skyrocket ....what's the value of a silver ...more

Alex In my opinion, The stage has been set for a takeover by Debenture holders under bankruptcy terms when Excellon runs out of cash to pay the bills. Debenture holders will own all of Excellons assets for under .10 cents.   This looks like where are haeded,, Debenture holders Win, Win, Win ! Shareholders,, Shi$ on ! Debentures from July 31, 2024    • Decreased the ...more

if failure was "the plan" all along, then why would Excellon make public plans about spinning out silver city, deals on Mexico's assets or publicizing drill results from Kilgore and more..... why all the time invested in making "a deal" with debenture holders to keep the company alive with the debenture holders having increased stake and skin in the game of the surviving ...more

Alex Lets hope your right, I have been here 10 yrs and nothing has gone right, in fact this company has had a verry unusual management to say the least. ( Just read Silver's posts on managements history) This is a Las Vegas bet, anymore then .10 out of this and I will be shocked ! M2

Alexandersun. Those actions you stated were first brought up by Excellon's CEO in at least one of his interviews in 2021, reported as action items in Excellon Jan 2022 NR and are now even past their last deadline Q3 2024. This is obviously a conscious effort to  keep on pushing them out. If done back in 2022 there probably would have been no need for the ridiculous Debenture Restructuring ...more

Hey silver I pray you are equally wrong. even early this year, CEO was talking about market timing and conditions in regard to mission statements  Yes things are delayed, but that's the same with hundreds of other companies in our sector whose plans are delayed due to lack of investor participation in the sector  if I'm not mistaken, that's how bottoms are made ...more

I still believe there is something coming that will reward shareholders and I hope I am correct... and the higher the price of silver goes the better those chances become.

Would be a strange strange time to sell now.....with silver in the midst of a historic breakout
Comment by silverforever on Nov 01, 2024 4:12pm
I agree  "silver in the midst of a historic breakout" making Excellon's assets very valuable. Last time silver was this high Excellon stock was over C$13/share and it did not even own Silver City or Kilgore, which alone has over C$3 billion of gold resources at these record high gold prices. Actually Excellon's stock once traded at over C$50/share, both happening before ...more

Silver I agree, ""there are those who are going to make a fortune from Excellon's very valuable assets, but it does not look like it will be Excellon's shareholders."" Don't have any FAILTH in Excellon's management, Also as you say, "" Excellon's stock once traded at over C$50/share, both happening before Brendan Cahill and Shawn Howarth ...more

Look,, Look at what happened to the La Negra Mine Agreement in Mexico. What happened to this past agreement, in 2023 the stock was trading @ .60 to .70. For 2024,, .08 to .20 ? Marine you are right about La Negra and this deal looks no better based on Excellon's stock reaction to the news. IMO neither made sense because of who runs Excellon. Just look at what they did with the assets Excellon owned. They either sold or depleted them at a loss, lost them to a lawsuit of their own making, dealt them away and/or failed to make them accretive. They can't even get the ...more
