Any Tech Minded People?
Love to know apples to apples how we stack up against SRPM motors.
Pls nothing from the peanut gallery.

looks like they make the motors. Inexpensive design but I would be afraid of the permanent magnets (rare earths, china). Exro is a controller. They make better whatever motor is put on their plate. As is my understanding

do SRPM Motors need gear boxes?

My understanding is it's just a different way of doing what Exro does. But which one outperforms the other is the question? Performance, price, what is Exro's edge? Yes SRPM uses rare earth magnets, but would that not make them more expensive? SRPM motors get more power and allow smaller motors with less weight also like Exro.

My Understanding is that this motor still has Windings so it too could benifit from the EXRO Coil Driver. IMO.

link How SRPM motors work. Still the question which is the better widget.

Exro SRPM motor is still a single torque motor although they can have more torque through the RPM range as they have better control of the magnetic field..... in simple terms. They would have to reworks the internals a little for the coil driver to work on a SRPM motor but it can very likely be done and maybe is being done.
