so this is to be on the road doing test runs by Sept of this year ......... think of one of the waste diposal giants looking at this

I think the heavy truck industry is going to be the bread and butter. The margins are likely to be higher there, and the performance benefits will be most visual in medium/heavy hauling. Cheers!

I think you need to recheck those numbers . As of 2020 , Toyota has sold a total of 15 million hybrids worldwide .

Total world wide auto prodution was 77.6 million in 2020 down from 91.7 in 2019. I think the bigger picture is that the majority ( if not all) of this production will become electric over the next 10-15 years. List of countries by motor vehicle production - Wikipedia

I totally agree with you on the performance side of cars for sure, but they are a small sector of consumer vehicle purchases.... For every Mustang or Supra is 50 Base model KIA's. It do think though, how many F150s are sold each year? This technology is PERFECT for bringing electric pickups into the main stream. Cheers!
