Interested in this boards response to this

Several weeks ago I asked/mentioned another company headquartered in the US that at least on the surface to do some things very similar to EXRO.....

I was lambasted for bringing them up......

But here is something new to chew on...

Opinions/thoughts?? Part of todays price drop action perhaps??

I think its very interesting and not at all unexpected given the market opportunity. These things will work themselves out eventually.  In any event, commercial contracts are written so as to indemnify purchasers against any claims that may arise out of such actions.  In other words, there will still be lots of business done while this works its way through the courts unless the ...more

Look everyone take a chill pill. we don't even know the extent of the claim.  Has anyone read the claim yet? Exro has patents and continues to file patent applications. That will not change.  The other guys have patents apparently.  The other guys seem to think that something in Exro's patents or applications infringes on theirs. That is what disputes are for. The only ...more

Like to see more details on this. I'm assuming it's patent infringement but to what degree?

Well that's what lawyers are for.  Exro will have to issue a press release

There are some big blocks trading today. Earlier I thought it was just retail dumping, still could be I guess.

And probably have to spend a small fortune in defending it whether there is any validity or not.
Comment by SIMPLICITI1 on Jan 24, 2022 2:07pm
as will the other folks..... so what?

American's sue for anything and it only cost them $400 to file. I suspect it's a fishing expedition but we will see. Anyone that has ever had a response from IR give it a try. They will have to check with their lawyers before they can say anything and even then they can't say much but that they have patents and good patent lawyers.

Sue has always said dynamic torque switching isn't new, it's how Exro does it that is. Since Exro has 30+ patents filed it would make sense that they have their bases covered. Reading about E-Propelled's system it appears they are doing something similar but they as re using their own patents for the motor as well, Exro is motor agnostic with just needing access to motor leads so there ...more
