Exro Technologies Inc > Insider ownership is not that good
View:

Insider ownership is not that good

and there's no major shareholder. On top of that net insiders selling for the year is 1.8 million, for me that's a red flag. Are they holding back something we should know? Are they copy cats?
Comment by Joseisok on Jan 29, 2022 11:52am
Thats an understatement, I added up what insiders own and it came to a measly 904,000 shares. That's .007% ownership.
Comment by Sarkazoo on Jan 29, 2022 11:55am
I believe when you include warrants its 6-8%, mark godsy owns 3.5% of the shares/warrants and hasn't sold any.
Comment by Joseisok on Jan 29, 2022 12:33pm
      Hasn't exercised any either.
Comment by Joseisok on Jan 29, 2022 1:40pm
       Another red flag.
Comment by jboom70 on Jan 29, 2022 12:52pm
Exro has use shares to gain talent without huge paychecks. They also have not given out huge options to insiders giving them large% ownership. FYI that's how insiders gain large positions they don't buy them. And as for large investor...Handelsbanken

Who's Handelsbanken, he's not even listed.

Seperate entity with just less than 10% of the float and not an insider. But don't put much weight behind these kind of things they are probably a first round investor that now uses the asset against a loan, this is how these things go. I believe first round was .20 cents. These startups are about playing the run-ups and side stepping retail panic. RJ and 8 will be using the $2 warrants and ...more

It's all moot if they lose the patent infringement lawsuit.
Comment by Bookworm28 on Jan 29, 2022 3:19pm
Let's hope they don't lose the lawsuit. Exro has a ton of patents, and RJ is know for quality DD. Who knows, maybe ePropelled has a case, or maybe they're trying to pressure them into a merger. I find it hard to believe there is an infringement. If Exros patents cover their current technology, how could ePropelled possibly win?
Comment by Bookworm28 on Jan 29, 2022 3:25pm
Forgot to add. What damages could ePropelled claim? Exro is pre-revenue. ePropelled hasn't lost a penny to Exro at this point.
Comment by Joseisok on Jan 29, 2022 3:29pm
I'm sure ePropelled did their home work also. It's not cheap to launch a lawsuit and carry it through, time will tell. Until then, I'm on the side lines.
Comment by jboom70 on Jan 29, 2022 3:40pm
Cost them $400.00 to file and will never see a court room. I'd say that's a cheap way to delay a competitor.
Comment by Joseisok on Jan 29, 2022 3:49pm
Or eliminate a competitor, let's see what happens.
Comment by Bookworm28 on Jan 29, 2022 3:59pm
ePropelled isn't going to get any compensation from the lawsuit. There are no damages (e.g. lost revenue), as Exro has no revenue. You can't speculate during litigation, saying 'we think we would have got these clients or customers, and we think we would have sold them $5 million of our product'. The lawsuit seems a bit risky, from ePropelled's viewpoint. Maybe they want to go ...more

" There are no damages (e.g. lost revenue), as Exro has no revenue."  184m market cap and no revenue.
Comment by AlwaysLong683 on Jan 29, 2022 5:57pm
It's a patent infringement lawsuit, meaning ePropelled believes (or is pretending to believe) that EXRO trespassed on ePropelled's patents and thus should either negotiate a settlement whereby ePropelled gets a % of any eventual revenues for any product EXRO eventually makes or sells using ePropelled's patented technology, or hope to get a verdict whereby EXRO is prohibited from using ...more
Comment by Bookworm28 on Jan 29, 2022 9:05pm
One more, 'what if' ... What if ePropelled is simpy trying to get the attention of Exro's existing partners/customers in an effort to say 'hey, we're here, we do the same thing; your better off coming to us'. ePropelled is getting great publicity, but, it may come back to bite them.
Comment by Sarkazoo on Jan 30, 2022 12:12am
Not likely . If anything Epropelled just introduced Exro to their partners
Comment by WsrThanWenYungr on Jan 30, 2022 11:52am
Seems most likely to me that ePropelled's objective is to eliminate a potential competitor. Why share the spoils when you can have it all for your self. (My precious. My precious.) Irrespective of the technological credentials of the two men who filed the original ePropelled patents, looking at the people involved in each company now, EXRO is filled with techies and folks from the auto ...more

Question: Would Raymond James or Eight Capital put their money at risk if they thought this lawsuit was anything to worry about? They know more about the patents and lawsuit than anyone on these boards. And they are risking capital here.
Comment by Joseisok on Jan 30, 2022 12:43pm
"I have no idea how to interepret that."     No problem, the market will interpret it for you.
Comment by jboom70 on Jan 29, 2022 3:26pm
When Exro's patent lawyers did a search when they filed for their patents you really don't think they could see eProppels patents? And the patents were still granted.
Comment by SIMPLICITI1 on Jan 29, 2022 3:58pm
You are trying too hard...everyone here knows your game....go away....
Comment by Joseisok on Jan 29, 2022 4:10pm
My money is no game, penny stocks are risky enough without patent suits added to the mix.
Comment by SIMPLICITI1 on Jan 29, 2022 5:08pm
Right...more BS....go away....boring boy

I ended up making over $140K profit in ...more
