LAW SUITS

forget about the law suit....    the law suit was design to do couple of thing . To slow down exro progress. To put fear in new customer .  TO CRIPPLE the market so exro  would have trouble raising money .  and at the same time they must have shorted exro before they put in the law suit . they got what they wanted . the law suit will take years before it get to court .

Question is, can they do business with an infrigement law suit in front of them?
Comment by Pandora on Feb 10, 2022 9:28pm
According to what I can find on USPTO this appears to be EXRO's most recent patent. Is it the one that is in dispute? Jonathan Ritchey being the inventor.     Assignment abstract of title for Application 16615493 Invention title/Inventor VARIABLE COIL CONFIGURATION SYSTEM CONTROL, APPARATUS ...more

There was someone on this board who seemed to have quite a bit of expertise in these matters. I forget who that was. I don't see their postings any more. Perhaps they're on holidays ;-)

Be patient. We don't know their motives yet.  The clock is ticking...... and when you are the plaintiff the clock works in your favour...... at least at the beginning stage......nobody is spending real money yet either...... but that will have to start fairly soon with ePropelled spending first......  They will have to put up or shut up soon enough.....by serving Exro with a ...more

That is one angle. I thought that e-Propelled did a Reddit style short play. Used their $ 15,000,000 raise, shifted the funds and shorted EXRO, knowing they were going to make this claim, scooped up weak hands stock and now they will pay off the legal bills with proceeds from selling their shares back into the market on the move higher. I believe their claims are unfounded and they might just ...more

      That's funny, what an imagination.
Comment by raglo on Feb 12, 2022 8:38pm
the imagination is by EPropelled, they did not "invent" coils switching on electric motors anymore than Exro did, it is very old technology and used to be done with timers, contactors, relays and resistors while operating. the difference is tecknology have caught up first with transitors integrated circuits software and yes now AI. Exro's Coildriver is superior to Epropelled Dynamic ...more

Well there you go, there's nothing to worry about. But it's the market that controls the sp, hope they feel safe.
Comment by Sarkazoo on Feb 12, 2022 9:42pm
the market reacts on the present knowledge, not future. Presently is still views the infringement as an issue, anyone buying now would be betting that it isn't a issue and exro will operate their business with little disruption. Most believe this to be the case after the company shared their shareholder letter.

The market is foward looking not present looking. You must be a rookie.

obviously when the last bit of information we got indicates a poor future the market will react to it as such. It wasn't until the company sent out the shareholder letter that the narrative changed and now the future is a more neutral than bearish.

Reading what the company puts out is easy. Reading what the company dosen't put out is paramount. The CEOs job is to shed their company in the best light. Initial SP reaction to news is always emotional retailers and traders. It's when the stock settels down do you realy know how the market feels about the news.                    ...more

Was the market forward looking when oil crashed in 2020? You basically copied what I said, I guess you're also a rookie. Exro is being viewed from a neutral standpoint now, it's down over 50% on the year because of financing and a bogus lawsuit. The company is well funded and now has a chance to change the narrative: -Potential Edison award winner -Strong on road test results from Potencia ...more

The proboem with the above argument is there is still an enormous amount of oil reserves and natural gas reserves ready to be unleashed in the coming years if companies and / or countries wish to do so. Canadian oil sands and conventional oil, U.S. shale oil, and the abundance of oil reserves in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Russia, etc. have loads of reserves that can ...more

IF and that's a big if, they pulled that kind of stunt.. regulators would be able to track down the trades before, during, and after the press releases to see if nefarious trading activity took place.. and if so.. Exro would have one hell of a counter suit to table.. would make the ePropelled suit look like playing monopoly.. Exro's suit would have REAL teeth..!! JMHO

was it a coincidence that short volume increased 2.5 million? More than double the short volume of the short report, if it wasn't known/leaked why does it seem so strategically planned? Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Before filing suit, ePropelled notified Exro Technologies Inc. that ePropelled's Dynamic Torque Switching™ technology, which allows electric vehicle (EV) motors to switch between parallel and in series configurations while operating, was patented by U.S. Patent No. 7,382,103, and that Exro Technologies Inc.'s Coil Drive System™ fell within the scope of the patent. EXRO did not respond with a cheque with enough zeros  written on it ? Typical American parasitic legal system go after someone with money or promise of money, cry in front of the court, claim your home life was ruined, can't sleep at night, etc etc  and if the target is a foreign company (Canadian) well that just plays out better in front of a jury.
