Whomever the partner is we are talking multiple end products and "torque" trumps speed. Not too many players in that sandbox - the "hybrid diesel-electric powertrain with applications across a platform of products" - can be counted on one hand. Bosch?

Volvo is pretty big on the European side and does a lot of sales in North America.

Could be MAN, a subsidiary of VW. There is also a manufacturer of heavy mining equipment, ABB.
