Yes I own the warrants , the leverage on them are spectacular .  Of course there is much more risk but also much more reward as seen today.  To think that they are not going to exceed $2.00 by 2025 seems pretty ridiculous to me , in fact I will be disappointed if they weren't in the money by years end. To me they are a nobrainer.

meaning   " that I believe the Exro shares themselves will exceed $2.00 before 2025 ''.  in the previous post in case there was any confusion.

What's the expiry date? I'll calculate the warrant premium and let you know if they're underpriced.

Sorry. You might be surprised how many people don't really understand warrants, and how they work. These could quite possibly be a ten-bagger. Or more.
Comment by tamaracktop on Nov 26, 2022 10:33am
They're a ten-bagger if the stock is trading at $9.86 or more on September 20th 2026. Not a prediction, just a fact.  The warrants will expire at $8.50 if the stock is trading at $9.86 on that date.

Are there not two sets of warrants that have recently been issued? One set from February 4, 2022 @ $2.00 (36 months - Feb 4, 2025) with no early expiry option and another set from September 1, 2022 @ $1.36 (48 months - Sept 1, 2026) with an early expiry option after 20 days above $2.72 on average. The first set of warrants were the ones that saw the 70% increase yesterday - I know because I own a ...more

I believe that the latest warrants were not separated from the underlying share and therefore are not listed on the TSX.

These are the warrants I was referring to in my explanation.   CALGARY, AB, Sept. 20, 2022 /CNW/ - Exro Technologies Inc. (TSX: EXRO) (OTCQB: EXROF) (the "Company" or "Exro"), a leading clean technology company that has developed new generation power control electronics that expand the capabilities of electric motors and batteries and bridge the cost ...more

I don't profess to know anything about what I am talking about but I have to go all the way back to a June 23, 2020 news release to find wording of warrants being listed for trading purposes. At that time the listing was on the CSE. I do not see wording in any of the recent financing saying that the warrants were listed for trading. Does that make a difference? Does the Company not have to ...more

Moderately curious that Raymond James was co-lead and went on to lower their target. Doesn't matter anyway.  They're wrong.

The tradeable warrants on the TSX have a $2.00 strike and expire in Feb/25 , I can't find the NR on them but it is in there somewhere .

If you want to determine the fair value of the warrants, it is common practice to utilize the Black-Scholes option pricing model in much the same way as it is used to determine the fair value of compensation based stock options. Take a peek at note 9 in the Q3 financial statements with respect to Share Capital. There is a great deal of information on the warrants and the stock options as well ...more

The warrants will always trade at their intrinsic value plus a "time premium". The intrinsic value is the price of the stock minus $1.36. The "time premium" will gradually diminish until it's zero on the expiry date on September 20th, 2026. The intrinic value today is 50 cents. ( $1.86 - $1.36 ) The warrants are 50 cents "in-the-money" The offer on the ...more
