I would think it's safe to say the short intrest has diminished for sure. I would never consider shorting this stock now. That said it's prudent to up your asks to 200% of the closing price today for the simple reason certain funds that are designed for shorting will wait for any news that comes to place the short and will have to pay the price when it goes up more. IMHO glta
