Exro Technologies Inc > THIS WAS NOT AN INSTITUTIONAL FINANCING!

THIS WAS NOT AN INSTITUTIONAL FINANCING!

Get a life people. This was a bought deal at a 6% commission, which means the "institutions" took the risk they could sell the deal to retail clients! And they were paid an extra couple of points for their troubles!

They mitigated the risk by getting a 15% discount on the SP AND then further mitigated the risk by co mingling the financing with the Linamar announcement!

The weak to strong hands analogy is pure B**LSH*T

Check out institutional ownership numbers.....

Time will tell simple. The institutional big boys bought in on the 15% discount know they could short this lower and flysh out weak hands to accumulate more shares below the bought deal price. This will not stay at this level for too long ince they have got their fill they will walk it back up. If you have had some dry powder now was tge time to add! All the best to those who are long and still ...more

Viking2233,  Nice try.... but once again you are dead wrong!  What you just stated is the equivalent of saying that the Tutes that just finished moving 15 million shares into the hands of their clients are now out to screw those same clients by shorting the stock.... When this started you essentially implied that YOU through your broker bought some shares, right. As memory serves you ...more

Simple you are correct, i did participate in tge bought deal and you are correct I went in for a large quantity and only got 10% fill. You ste correct the price is below the bought deal share price which is not durprising considering tge bought deal was heavily over subscribed. I have continued to add daily and evenbtoday I added 60K and I will continue to add with price below the bought deal ...more

Time will Tell Simplicity. Let's touch base in 30 days, I suspect $2.25  share price will be in rear view mirror!

SIMPLICITI1, you seem to have been down this road before. In the words of Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry, "a man's gotta know his limitations" so I would appreciate your insight. First, my initial thoughts on how this underwriting (totally agree with you on that) unfolded. I fully expected that we would see the SP fall to around the $2.25 level which of course it did. The SP ...more

Beaner53,  Each deal can have different terms for certain...... but they all operate within a range of "reasonableness" so as to protect shareholders of record at the time of the financing.  A bought deal does not mean that the brokerage houses are buying shares for their own accounts to hold as investments. It simply means that instead of going out to market on a best efforts ...more
