Note the reference to LFP chemistry. This increasingly is being used by OEMs to provide lower price alternatives to their product lines.

Correct me if I'm wrong..and I hope I am, but my understanding is that the coil driver can't be used in a passenger car until it has been in production for at least a year?

That requirement applies to OEMs that are IATF members. Tesla is not a member.
