They just pulled the plug on making EV's. Doesn't mean they didn't deliver a few trucks like you are showing. Expensive trucks that can't do the miles don't work for freight companies. What you see is companies buying a few trucks to test them in the real world but no big orders. Not with the straight truck format. Will trucks some day go to Ev, Hydrogen, or another fuel ...more

Jboom70, What I don't see is any formal announcement from Freightliner stating that they are pulling the plug as you put it. Until then I will present what is available from reliable sources and not internet sensationalists.   Freightliner is owned by Daimler Trucks, a publicly traded company. I would expect that an announcement of that significance would be press released. Nice ...more

Not yet, but SEA intends to use a combination of Coil Driver and the BCS capabilities in the Cell Driver for class 7 and 8 vehicles.  BCS becomes cost effective for large battery packs with very high numbers of charge cycles. This will extend the battery life in these vehicles as you know.
