They have been marketing over a year now and how many preorders did they get subject this UL which was always just weeks away..

Dont be shocked when this is as successful as the magic coil driver beans and the stock returns to skiing.

Muncipalities may not even consider an ESS until it is UL certified. My neighbour's Powerwall 2.1 says Conforms to UL 9540 (which means they did the 9540a testing, which EXRO did in 2022) and it also says CSA Cerrtified.  ie not UL9540 certified so Tesla couldn't put the UL sticker on the unit.  Now Cellex Energy's ESS product will be labeleld as UL 9540 Certified so will be

There is piles of UL9540  certified ESS . I minute on google is all it takes  Enphase received the UL9540 in 2016  .  Sadly I think this  will like sell as well as the coil driver so basically not at all .   Of course Tesla has sold 500,000  powerwalls....

Actually there aren't that many - so far.   Some say 9540 certified but when you look at the data sheet it is actually 9540a which means they probably had the testing done or maybe even did it themselves they but don't have the Certification from UL (and 9540a is not a certification) and most don't carry the UL logo, but now Cellex can. But it is likely only a matter of time
