So how close are these "new" innovations by KIA/Hyundai and Bosch to being in a conflict with the Exro patents?

Linamar was producing e-axles prior to their contact with EXRO. You know that. If the product is in their catalogue it means its no longer under development. They have already sold some of these to customers.  On that basis alone the EXRO product would not appear. But you knew that already.  Enough with the FUD patrol.....
