I'm thinking Friday we will hear about the dividend payout date. The annual meeting is at 10am in France. It should be over and annouced before the TSX market open as there is a 5 hour time difference. I expect it will be declared and payed in around a month's time if it is done the same way as in the past.

Should just slap the $6M on the debt or buyback shares instead of paying a div. You could buyback appr 2M shares with that money. The stock appreciation you will get from quality company growing revenue while paying down debt and buying back shares is alot more value than money leaving the company that will be taxed by the gov't before the shareholders here get any.

I agree to a point. Although they are relatively small they already do a share buyback and are very active on it for as far back as I can remember. A large share buyback could hurt Liquidity and that has been a problem here in the past so i don't think that is a great alternative.
