Fission poised for uranium upturn

Timing counts for a lot in the mining space and Ross McElroy, president and CEO of Fission Uranium, has seen the stars rapidly align in the months since he took the helm in September 2020. As the uranium market positions for another up-cycle and money is flowing into the space McElroy has steered Fission from an explorer to a development company, poised to advance the Triple R deposit at its project Patterson Lake South (PLS) project in the southwestern Athabasca Basin in Canada.

Almost inevitable that FCU and NXE will have to cooperate on infrastructure if it's what the Saskatchewan government and the First Nations prefer.   Must also  be some behind the scenes work on a SMR power supply as three Northern Saskatchewan indigenous companies have signed MOU's to invest in SMR's.

Patterson Lake mine could be 10 years away. Or more. Won't be of any help to current shareholders. It is hard to tell how much of the current uranium hype is pure fiction? Or partial truth. There certainly is a lot of exaggeration going on.

This can be said of almost the whole U mining industry. Very few good performers over the last 10 years. For Uranium, the story is always tomorrow but so far tomorrow has never come. 2021 is another year just like the previous 10 so maybe 2022 will be the promised year. The only way you can stay positive on FCU is buy on major dips and only use your "mad" money. For me, this would have ...more

mlcb2525. You are correct. Huge pumping goes into making investors believe that the bull market is finally here. Just watch Quakes do his song and dance to convince people that the spot price is leaping ahead ..... although most advances are nickels and dimes ..... and that there is a massive shortage of uranium.....but the market does not support that suggestion. Plus look at all the companies ...more

I almost fell out of my chair when I read the following quote from Ross...bahahahaha!  Sure Ross, the market loves what your doing!  Look at our share price and market cap in relation to DML & NXE.  JMO  "The market likes what we are doing. Our successful financings over the last eight months are a direct response to Fission becoming a developer, to our change of ...more

Knowledgeable uranium investors know that Ross is just as full of first class excrement as  Dev was. No credibility left in this company. That is why it is a laggard on up days and a leader on down days.

"excrement" may be a little harsh for Dev's NUMBER 2 man.  JMO
