While I'm tickled pink at the SP increase in all my

U stocks I'm a tad nervous about one sinle entity having so much control over the price of uranium.  Old enough to remember the Sub Prime Mortgage Crisis.  I know this is different in most ways, but not all.

Say somebody at Sprott decided they could also make money on the way DOWN and decided to sell all this uranium while shorting the entire industry.

My thoughts exactly, I wondered about that. Because as we all know anything is possible where big money is involved.

You are wise to be a tad nervous about Uranium, after all that old saying "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is" could be applicable to many well seasoned investors. However, we are involved in a commodity that is fast tracking to add balance to the supply/demand status that has a deficiency in production to meet present demand, it also has been selling at a 50% discount to ...more

anyine holding out for 100/lb is playing a fools game.  Even RR says there is PLENTY of supply at the right price.  Better to be out a week or month early than a day late...I will begin unloading my positions at 60-80/lb

So if you admit FCU is undervalued compared to its peers then, assuming you aren't just babbling, you're asying its a great BUY right now and you yourself are loading up ... right?  FWIW I think most FCU investors here would agree strongly with you, FCU is undervalued and a great BUY. Thanks for showing up!!!
Comment by Charlie_Chan on Sep 12, 2021 10:32pm
Absolutely! If FCU was valued compared to it's peers, I would probably be looking at buying one of it's peers  (Denison or NexGen). It wasn't so I bought FCU. A value investor is always looking for the best value (i.e.undervalued) Company which would presume a bigger bang for the buck! Btw, for interest sake......I researched many Uranium Companies prior to taking initial ...more

I also bought because FCU is extremely undervalued imo.. and the current drill program is showing massive new potential which could become another major driver... I have been investing in resource stocks for 18 years and one thing i learned is there are always very undervalued stocks that get left behind but 8 times out of 10 they have their day and catch up with a vengence.. I would suggest that ...more

am I loading up?  No...like Ross and the FCU board of directors I am sitting on the sidelines.  My reason being I don't think management has the ability to realize full value for this stock and its shareholders.  JMO

LOL, @ Uraniuman308 you really are your own worst enemy aren't you? You are proudly admitting to NOT buying a stock that has gone from 50 cents to over $1 in less than a month at the same time pointing out they are undervalued?!?  Let me guess, you want to be taken seriously?
Comment by touareg on Sep 13, 2021 9:13am
I'm with you there Charlie.. the fundamentals for U are far too weighted in favour of a continuation in price increase for years to come.. anyone, even sprott, shorting would be like going against the flow.. and why would they do that anyway? surely makes far more sense to go with the flow and milk it as much as possible.. which I have no doubt is the sprott plan over next few years at least.
Comment by Greenday on Sep 12, 2021 2:55pm
@ KozmoT - Go with the flow.  If Sprott starts shorting then you start shorting but Sprott isn't shorting.  They're buying.  So is everybody else.
