Who would Cameco say is looking for unanium supply out until 2039?  With their long term planning and huge nuclear build out in the works, could very well be the Chinese.

If so maybe the Chinese are actively working to suppress the spot price.

@199930 - I don't think the Chinese really care what the spot price for uranium is.  The market is thinly traded and it doesn't serve their needs.  Their interests lie in the long term market and the security of supply for their reactor fleet.   The people interested in the spot market is us and the handful of traders flipping some carry contracts back and forth.  ...more
