I tried to figure out over the last few months who got bought out for $4 lbs many years ago, I googled everything but have had no luck in the past.

I have voted no in the past and will do the same again. I think this is a lowball offer.

Hathor maybe?  I owned a bunch of that and made a killing but remember the buyout was still cheap compared to what the deposit was worth.
