Putin Flexing His Uranium Muscles
The West needs to get its act together. It's not a coincidence that Kazakhstan is reporting that uranium shipments to the West through ports other than St. Petersburgh are economically unviable. Putin reportedly was on Russian state TV telegraphing his desire to cut Russian uranium exports to the West. Good possibility that its not only Russian uranium that will be restricted from being exported to the West but Kazakhstani uranium as well and that creates a problem for utilites with a waiver to buy Russian uranium and those that that buy directly from Kazakhstan.

I made a mistake I meant to say us not US. That's good for uranium mind as the demand will raise the spot price would it not. So sucks for US hut is great for us as investors in a uranium mine

@ Jolleyguy - Kazakhstan is the worlds largest and cheapest supplier of uranium. If Putin prohibits it from using the port of St. Petersburg to export its uranium it could ship it to it's Western customers through Azerbaijan. That's more expensive though and anything that increases the cost to the worlds cheapest producer, is good for everybody else.
