Interesting Article on VP Jagdeo's Corruption allegations

Article in the local paper about VP Jagdeo accepting multiple bribes involving oil companies  in adddition to hydro deal, with them saying they have actual recordings of him admitting it, yet no investigation?

Oh great! If true, this corruption will really destroy the confidence of international investors in Guyana. Nothing gets done if somebody doesn't get paid.

Only in banana republics? How bout NYC with the mafia's famous labour raqueteering, extortion raquettes shaking down companies driving up construction costs, textiles, garment, trucking, garbage pickup, you name it. Naw I don't want any part of any company operating in Guyana if bribes, shakedowns are going on. Money that could be going to shareholders in dividends being stolen. No thanks. ...more
